If you are reading this, chances are you have already spotted me on some social media platform and know something about my crazy life. If this is not the case, strap yourself in for the ride!

So, let me tell you a little bit about myself as I think it’s best I introduce myself. I am a new mummy that is fairly confident I’m winging it through life. I am anything but subtle and could never imagine being any other way. I am a crazy and loving wife in the kind of way that if showing love through pranks was a gauge I would be a 10/10. Sometimes I wonder who the kids are in my family as I can easily be more immature than them.

I am a mother to a 2 year old boy, Ari, and my gorgeous little new addition to the family, Ambrosia, 3 months old. I’d like to say I am well travelled but there are so many places left to see, I am nowhere near done yet. I am a fussy eater and by that I mean I pretty much don’t eat anything that isn’t basic.

I think I am accidentally funny as most of the time my brain and mouth aren’t connected, either that or my mouth is faster than my brain so things just blurt out. This may be where the nickname “brick face” came from in my life, as I am known to be as subtle as a brick in the face. This wasn’t the only nickname i had through my years, I had plenty, including “thunder thighs”, “pimple face”, “train tracks”, “tzatziki breath”, “zuzu” and “sexy” (ok so the last one was a lie).

I am currently on maternity leave from my job as an art teacher which I love! I swear I do. Well, I love the kids and what I teach but don’t get me started on the meetings, paperwork and children who waste my lunchtimes on disciplining. I am a teacher now but boy did I go via Mexico to get here. That’s a different story though.

I lurveee playing jokes on people that I love and I may have taken things too far once or twice but, they always forgive me because they have no choice. I think it’s also because I’m so cute and loveable. People think my husband is a saint, personally I think that’s going a little far. Tolerant is a much better word for him. I think he puts up with a lot but I can only imagine how bloody boring his life was before he met me. Actually I don’t need to imagine, I KNOW!

Ok, I hope I got a giggle or two out of you. If I didn’t you must be stone cold. Oh another silly thing about me is that I say things in my head as though I am a 500 pound African American woman called Respucia. Sometimes I look in the mirror and am shocked I don’t see Respucia. Please go easy on me as I have no idea what i am doing but so many people tell me I should blog and I thought I would give it a go.

Thanks for reading.
